Spro Iris Popeye Shad

The Iris Popeye shads from Spro are true “eye-catchers”. The objective when developing the Popeye shad was to create the ultimate softbait for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. This resulted in a round body with extra prominent holographic eye that slowly flows into a slender, agile swivel tail with subtle “paddle tail”, giving the Popeye very low water resistance, but creating maximum “disturbance”, or vibration and action!

Fish the softbait super slow above plants to speed jigging with heavy jigheads at great depths or jig it with long “hover moments” back into the tidal stream for bass…. the Popeye can do it all!

Available in no less than 4 sizes in 8 proven colours, from 14 cm pike/perch/seabass “killers” up to 23 cm for pike and saltwater monsters. Equipped with handy “hooksize indicators” on the back, that match perfectly with the Spro jigheads and indicate where to insert the hook point from the softbait.

As if all this were not enough, the Pop-Eye shad is also equipped with a special UV coating that is activated with a UV flashlight or any other bright (head) light and makes the softbait glow underwater.
